Hunger Response International / the Rice Raiser has partnered with the Mennonite Central Committee British Columbia on the following projects:
Rice Raiser Campaign 2008:
The Monga Project in BANGLADESH – $6000 was multiplied by 4 times in partnership with the Canadian International Development Agency to assist farmers in agricultural micro-enterprises that include goats, vegetable seeds and fruit trees.
Rice Raiser Campaign 2007:
Relieving Hunger in INDONESIA Related to the Devastating Effects of HIV/AIDS – 52 people were supplied for a year with rice and eggs.
Rice Raiser Campaign 2006:
COLOMBIA Community Soup Pot – funds were provided for meals to women and children for 2.5 months through a community soup kitchen.
Relief for PAKISTAN Earthquake Victims – 25 families received emergency food packages to last them a month.
