Hunger Response International / the Rice Raiser has partnered with Hungry For Life International on the following projects:
Rice Raiser Campaign 2008:
Emergency Relief Food for KENYA – 180 families (1080 people) received one week’s supply of emergency food.
Orphan Care in UKRAINE – funds were provided to a privately run orphanage that houses up to 50 children to stock their pantry for winter plus purchase enough food to feed everyone for 3 months.
Rice Raiser Campaign 2007:
Relief food for poverty stricken ZAMBIA- Funds were sent to purchase rice and maize for 1776 people plus 21 families received fertilizer, seeds and tools to grow their own gardens.
Rice Raiser Campaign 2006:
Maize for ZAMBIA – Funds were provided to purchase maize for 38 families to help them survive until the next harvest.
