2008 Campaign Results
Food prices are increasing all over the world causing concern and even unrest in many nations.
The daily headlines referring to a ‘Global Food Crisis” in our current news emphasizes the need to help our youth know about their world and to provide a means for them to help the hungry. Through the Rice Raiser, students awareness of hunger is increasing. As they join forces, they are able to experience the power of changing hunger for many people. In some cases the food provides relief and other times the funds help with sustainability. Not only are they giving food, but the gift of hope as well.
