The 2007 Rice Raiser Results

19 April 2007

The 2007 Rice Raiser Campaign results are in and the funds for global projects have been sent out.

Together, with the involvement of 21 schools throughout the Fraser Valley and on Vancouver Island we collected

  • over 6,300 kilograms of rice and 1,400 cans of food to help feed people locally! (a value of over $11,000)

Plus – we were able to send off
  • over $16,000 in cash to the four developing countries to help feed people globally!

That equals a grand total of
  • over $27,000 raised in cash and food for the 2nd Rice Raiser Campaign!

SCHOOL PARTICIPATION

Congratulations to each school that participated in this year’s campaign! Because you cared, because each one of you gave, we want you to know that you have made a difference to many, many lives. You have helped provide the very basic necessity of life…food.
